Gurugram is about 250 km from Khatu Shyam, a five-hour drive down NH-48. For the millions of devotees across Delhi-NCR it is a favourite weekend yatra — leave before dawn and you can be back the same evening.
By road
~250 km · 5–5.5 hoursThe best route is NH-48: Gurugram → Rewari → Bahror → Kotputli → Sikar → Ringas → Khatu. It is four-lane and easy almost the whole way.
A car or taxi is most comfortable, roughly ₹2,800–4,000 one way. Start at dawn and you can reach Khatu by midday, take darshan, and drive back the same evening.
By train
6–7 hours · to Ringas or SikarFrom Gurugram station, or the nearby Delhi stations, trains run to Ringas and Sikar. Ringas is the nearest railhead, just 17 km from Khatu.
Direct services are limited, so many devotees pick up the Salasar Express and similar trains from Old Delhi or Nizamuddin. During the Phalgun Mela, extra mela-special trains run.
By air
Fly to Jaipur, then ~80 km by roadFlying is rarely needed from Gurugram — the road is straightforward. If speed matters, take a Delhi or Jaipur flight.
Jaipur International is about 80 km from Khatu; from there a taxi reaches the temple in about 1.5–2 hours.

The Gurugram–Rewari stretch is busy during the day. An early start gets you onto clear highway and into Khatu in time for a midday darshan.

NH-48 has several toll plazas — make sure your FASTag is recharged. A one-way toll runs roughly ₹300–400.

Kotputli is the midpoint of the drive, with good dhabas and hotels for a meal and a rest stop.
