By road

A car or taxi is the most comfortable choice, and it lets you fold in Pushkar (just 15 km from Ajmer) and Kishangarh on the same trip.
By train
Ajmer Junction → RingasAjmer is one of the larger junctions in the region, so there are several trains towards Ringas, the nearest railhead at 17 km from Khatu.
Ajmer is also well connected to Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi, so pilgrims coming from afar can route through Ajmer, take darshan at the Dargah, and continue to Khatu.
By air
Fly to Jaipur, then ~140 km by roadThe small Kishangarh airport near Ajmer has limited service. The reliable option is Jaipur International (JAI), about 140 km from Ajmer.
From Jaipur it is simplest to drive straight to Khatu (80 km) rather than doubling back through Ajmer.

Add Pushkar to the trip
Pushkar is just 15 km from Ajmer. Take darshan at the Brahma temple and the holy lake before turning towards Khatu — many pilgrims make a three-shrine yatra of it.

The Kishangarh route is faster
The Ajmer–Jaipur highway via Kishangarh is four-lane and quick. Turn off at the Jaipur bypass for Ringas. The Nagaur–Kuchaman route is slower but calmer for self-driving.

Many taxi operators offer a combined Ajmer–Pushkar–Khatu–Salasar circuit. For a group, this works out cheaper than booking each leg separately.
