Phalguna Shukla Ekadashi — the greatest Ekadashi of Khatu Shyam Ji. It is the main day of the Falgun Mela, when lakhs of devotees arrive at Baba's court carrying nishan flags. This amla-worship day falls just before Holi.
Amalaki Ekadashi falls in the bright fortnight of Phalguna — four days before Holi. Across India it is the day of worshipping the amla tree, but at Khatu its place is unmatched: this is the crowning day of the Falgun Mela of Shyam Baba.
